Robert Eastwood (Rob) is a seasoned technology professional with more than 30 years of IT and Cybersecurity experience, including over 25 years dedicated to information security within the financial and banking sector. As the Chief Information Security Officer, he leads efforts to safeguard customer data, strengthen cyber resilience, and navigate an evolving threat landscape.
Throughout his career, Rob has built and matured comprehensive information security programs focused on cybersecurity, customer privacy, threat detection, business continuity, and incident response. He holds multiple industry certifications and has guided organizations through complex security challenges, regulatory expectations, and emerging risks.
Beyond organizational leadership, Rob works directly with individuals who have fallen victim to online scams, helping them understand how attacks occur, how to prevent future incidents, and how to recover with confidence. This hands‑on experience with real victims informs his mission: to make cybersecurity knowledge accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone.
